Professional Placement Specialists is led by Jeff King, who has worked within,
and recruited for, the medical industry since 1987.
"I used to have a REAL job working as an R&D Engineer and a Marketing Manager
for a couple of medical device companies. I never was very good at the politics, but
enjoyed getting things done and making a difference.
As an Engineer and Manager, I used to get contacted by a lot of Recruiters and
learned very quickly that all recruiters are not the same, and a majority of them I
wanted nothing to do with. They were not terribly helpful and seemed like they were
in a rush to get off the phone with me. They didn't seem to know, or care what I
wanted or expected.
When I became a Recruiter I decided that I wanted to be one of those recruiters
that people enjoyed doing business with, and felt like I cared about their success.
There's no doubt that recruiting is a tough and sometimes frustrating business, but
the people I get to work with, and the relationships I form with them are what makes
this job enjoyable and keeps me going."
