PROFESSIONAL PLACEMENT SPECIALISTS, INC.
WE MAY NOT BE WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR
There are a number of recruiters out there that will accept a discounted fee and
then simply place a job posting, and then send every resume that has some key
buzzwords on it to you to screen – hoping that you might find someone of interest in
the pile. If that’s what you are looking for in a recruiter, please don’t call us. We
can’t help! That’s NOT recruiting and costs you more in lost time and distractions
than using a REAL recruiter that charges a fair fee.
SHOULD YOU CALL US?
If you are looking to fill a critical position in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research, or
Quality, you may have found these professionals can be difficult to find. Our job is
to help simplify and streamline this process for you. Many of our clients have
commented on the care we have taken to understand the problems they are facing,
and in finding the RIGHT people for them (see our Testimonials page). It’s not
enough to just find people with the right buzzwords on their resume. You also have
to make sure they are technically capable of doing the job, have the personality to fit
in with the existing team, and can thrive in your company’s culture.

HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
- We’ll Listen – We want to know what problems you are trying to solve by filling this
position, and what type of person will not only fit in with your team, but will add to it.
We’ll spend time upfront to learn your specific needs and situation to make the
process easier and smoother as we proceed.
- We Know Our Candidates – We know where to find the top talent (hint: it’s not the
job boards), and we know what motivates or de-motivates them. We’re familiar
with the medical industry from the inside, and know how to ask the right questions
and make the right match. We also make sure the candidate is interested in your
opportunity before we sent them to you.
- We help - not hinder you – We’ll carefully pre-screen and match candidates to your
requirements, and only submit the top 3-5 to you. On average 3 out of 4 candidates
submitted are asked in to interview. This will simplify the process and not waste
your time. We also have a success rate of 92% in getting your offers accepted and
having the person show up on day one ready to go.
- We stay with you throughout the process – We keep in contact with both you, and
the candidate throughout the transition period, and for a year after we’ve
successfully placed someone on your team to help protect your investment in
working with us. We help you prepare for your new employee, and help ensure
both sides are happy as the new relationship develops.

WHAT YOU DON'T EXPECT, BUT GET ANYWAY
- Provide a resource center that you can send employees to that have been laid off
or terminated to help them in their job search - Most small to mid sized
companies don’t have anything they can offer these employees to help them find
their next job. We’ve developed a website (www.gotoppsresources.com) that gives
them access to free articles, webinars, and services that can help them build a
resume, prepare for interviews, find new opportunities, and ask specific questions
they might have. You may have to let them go, but you can make it easier, and
leave them with a more positive view of you and your company.
- Creating solid job descriptions – If you need help creating a job description we can
help. We’ve had clients use our search summary guidelines from our conversation
with them to create stronger and more useful job descriptions.
- Strengthen your interview efficiency - If you (or your interview team) tend to “wing
it” in interviews, we can provide tips, suggestions, and a guideline to easily help you
develop a solid, effective interview strategy to improve your outcomes.
- Teach you how to “interview” recruiters – Finding the right Recruiter can
dramatically improve your chance of success in filling a critical position. You
interview potential new employees, why not interview the person who will help you
find them?
